Posted: 08/26/2021
The City of Knoxville Police Advisory & Review Committee (PARC) will hold its 2nd Quarter meeting on Thursday, Aug. 26, at 6 p.m. in the Small Assembly Room of the City County Building (400 Main Street). Video of the meeting will be posted at CTVKnox.org

PARC members will present information on cases received by the Knoxville Police Department’s Internal Affairs Unit in April, May and June of 2021. The agenda also includes committee business, speakers who have requested to address the committee, and a public forum, limited to three minutes per speaker.

PARC was established in 1998 to provide an independent review of police activity and make recommendations to the Chief of Police. It is the longest continuously running citizen-run police advisory board in Tennessee.

The City of Knoxville ensures meaningful access to City programs, services, and activities to comply with Civil Rights Title VI and ADA Title II laws and reasonably provides: translation, interpretation, modifications, accommodations, alternative formats, auxiliary aids and services.
