The deadline to turn in completed applications was 4:00pm EST on Friday, May 7, 2021. Currently, we are no longer accepting applications for the 2021 Summer Camp Program but we hope to see your application next year!

Event/Seasonal Temporary Recreation Employment includes part-time, hourly, at-will, seasonal positions such as recreation assistant, summer jobs, lifeguards, umpires/referees, scorekeepers, bus drivers, etc.  You can apply for these positions directly with Parks & Recreation, as they are not posted on the City of Knoxville Civil Service employment site.  Applicants must complete I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification and must bring proper documentation (click for list with more information on approved identification [PDF]).
