George Shacklett plays his cornet for
the KCRB at the Rossini Festival.

The Knoxville Community Recreation Band gives musicians of all experience levels the opportunity to perform in various concerts and other City events throughout the year. The band plays an assortment of light classical, festive and marching songs.

The band meets in the band room at Northwest Middle School at 7 p.m. every Tuesday night. For more information on concert dates or about joining the band, call Gene Collins at 865-687-3827.

Summer Concerts in the Park

This free concert series is held in Market Square, Victor Ashe Park and at the Cove during the months of June and July. Dates and locations for this event are posted in the Spring.
