Pool Party Rentals

The South Knoxville Community Center Pool can be rented out for birthday parties and other events. The pool is available on weekends as well as during regular hours of operation.

Pickers and Grinners at South Knoxville Community Center
The Pickers and Grinners is open to all musicians
and they perform for free at the South Knoxville
Community Center every week.

South Knoxville

Directions: Headed south on the Henley Street bridge, and at the red light at Baptist Hospital, turn right onto Blount Ave. (Train tunnel is one lane only.) Continue about 1.5 miles to next red light. On your right will be Mary Vestal Park. Continue straight (approx. 100 ft.) Recreation center is on left. (Entrance is before the railroad tracks.)

  • RULES AND REGULATIONS IN CITY RECREATION CENTERS:

    The following are prohibited in city recreation centers:

    1) Possession of firearms and weapons
    2) Possession of drugs, alcohol, or any elicit substance
    3) Smoking or use of tobacco products
    4) Gambling
    5) Use of profanity
    6) Fighting
    7) Dunking or hanging on rims of basketball goals
    8) Pets
    9) Only indoor court shoes allowed (ex: tennis shoes or non-marking soles)

    Violation of these rules or any other rules set by individual centers may result in suspension from this center and others. Suspension terms will be set by each center.
