Pool Party Rentals

The E.V. Davidson Pool can be rented out for birthday parties and other events. Along with the pool, there is a “meeting room”, or party room in the center for your use for cake, food, games, etc.

East Knoxville

Basketball at Dr. E.V. Davidson Community Center
Open basketball is available in all City recreation centers.

Directions: From I-40, Take the CHERRY ST exit- EXIT 390. Turn RIGHT onto N CHERRY ST. Turn LEFT onto E MAGNOLIA AVE/US-11/US-70/TN-1. Turn RIGHT onto N CASTLE ST. Turn LEFT onto WILSON AVE. End at 3124 Wilson Ave Knoxville, TN 37914-4653, US.

The new recreation center, formerly the Eastside YMCA, has been renovated and updated, with a new roof, better heat and air conditioning system, and new paint. It features a large gymnasium, indoor pool, fitness room, a community room and kitchen.

The facility also has a study room with a free library and computers available for student use.

Mondays and Wednesdays 1:15 p.m. - 2 p.m.

Flex n Pump
1st and 3rd Tuesdays 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Abs and Stretching
2nd and 4th Tuesdays 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Line Dancing
Thursdays 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Kickboxing
Wednesdays 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Adult Open Gym
Wednesdays 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Spades Night
Thursdays 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

RULES AND REGULATIONS IN CITY RECREATION CENTERS:

The following are prohibited in city recreation centers:

1) Possession of firearms and weapons
2) Possession of drugs, alcohol, or any elicit substance
3) Smoking or use of tobacco products
4) Gambling
5) Use of profanity
6) Fighting
7) Dunking or hanging on rims of basketball goals
8) Pets
9) Only indoor court shoes allowed (ex: tennis shoes or non-marking soles)

Violation of these rules or any other rules set by individual centers may result in suspension from this center and others. Suspension terms will be set by each center.
