Christenberry Recreation Center is connected to Christenberry Elementary School. The facility is one of the City's largest recreation centers, featuring a large dance studio, full-sized gymnasium, arts and crafts room (complete with a kitchen), and a fully-equiped weight room.

In addition to the interior features, the rec center also has an outdoor playground. Not to mention, the facility is adjacent to a major ballfield complex, featuring four baseball/softball fields, restrooms, and a playground.

Senior Citizens Shuffle and Burn
Wednesdays 1:15 - 2:15

Aerobics
Tuesdays and Thursdays 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Line Dancing/ Ballroom Dancing
Tuesdays and Thursdays 7 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Art After School Program
Monday - Friday 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Open Gym
Monday - Thursday 8 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Girl Scouts
Wednesdays 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Senior Citizen Dance

Kitchen and meeting rooms available for rental during and after regular business hours.

RULES AND REGULATIONS IN CITY RECREATION CENTERS:

The following are prohibited in city recreation centers:

1) Possession of firearms and weapons
2) Possession of drugs, alcohol, or any elicit substance
3) Smoking or use of tobacco products
4) Gambling
5) Use of profanity
6) Fighting
7) Dunking or hanging on rims of basketball goals
8) Pets
9) Only indoor court shoes allowed (ex: tennis shoes or non-marking soles)

Violation of these rules or any other rules set by individual centers may result in suspension from this center and others. Suspension terms will be set by each center.
