From the Center,
The Knoxville Arts and Fine Crafts Center is a place where history lives...where traditional and contemporary art is taught….where people of all ages and interests come together and share their passion. During our thirty-five years as a teaching facility we have grown in many ways. Originally the center was primarily used as a teaching facility for visual arts. Throughout the years we added fitness and dance classes to our schedule, which are now some of our most popular. This past year Anna Denison started teaching guitar, banjo and mandolin classes, which have been a great addition to the program.
This session we are planning on incorporating easy, healthy food preparation workshops into our schedule. The goal of this class is to introduce a healthy and easy way to prepare foods free of preservatives into your diet. The instructor, Asante George, travels and shares her knowledge and passion about healthy eating in workshops and classes throughout the Southeast. Join us for our upcoming exhibit featuring Susie Holt and her drawing and watercolor students. This group exhibit is one you should really enjoy!
City employees, we’re watching out for your health. Knoxville Arts and Fine Crafts Center has a special rate just for you! Show us your city I.D. and receive a 25% discount off your next fitness class.
Hope to See You!
