    Northwest Knoxville

    Directions: Take Western Avenue exit off of I-640; go east about one mile; turn left onto Knoxville College Drive; then take the second left onto Reynolds Street; park is on the right behind the school. Park is located adjacent to Ed Cothren Pool.

    Malcolm-Martin Park features many recreational facilities, including an outdoor basketball court, a softball field, Ed Cothren Swimming Pool, Malcolm-Martin Greenway, a playground, and several large picnic shelters.

    Football teams also practice in the outfield of the softball field. To reserve the softball field, please call 865-919-5937.

    To reserve Ed Cothren Pool, call 865-546-8796.

    Season: Memorial Day weekend - Labor Day weekend
    Cost: $2/person/visit
    Hours: Monday-Saturday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.

    1.) For the protection of our park and the safety of its users, the following are prohibited

  • No alcoholic beverages
  • No firearms
  • No open fires
  • No hitting golf balls anywhere in the park
  • No motorized vehicles in park
  • No equestrian activity
    2.) Per city ordinance, all animals must be maintained on a leash. (No pets are allowed in the ballfield complex.)
    3.) Please be respectful of other trail users
    4.) Please help to keep our parks beautiful by disposing trash in proper receptacles.
