Claude Walker Park/Ballfields Claude A. Walker was a graduate of Austin High School in Knoxville and John C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC. He served Knoxville recreational leagues for 39 years. Walker believed that recreation was a key to keeping children off the streets and that managers and coaches played important role children’s lives.
