The Records Section maintains criminal history files on anyone arrested by the department, with a current total of 145,800 files. In addition, the section maintains all traffic accident reports (approximately 12,000 per year) and all crime reports, which number more than 24,000 a year and 18,000 arrest reports.

Copies of Traffic Accident reports are $10.00 each. All other reports such as Crime Reports, DUI Reports etc. are $5.00. Criminal Records checks are available for $5.00 each, however, the individual must come in person and bring their SOCIAL SECURITY CARD ALONG WITH A GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID. All services may be obtained Monday thru Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:15 P.M.
