Fire Prevention and Fire Safety

The City of Knoxville Fire Department responds to roughly 1000 fire related calls each year. People have lost not only their property, but also their lives. The Fire Department encourages everyone to click on the links below for more information about fire prevention and safety.

When An Emergency Vehicle Approaches

The driver should safely pull to the right and stop until the emergency vehicle has passed. Be aware and watchful as there may be more than one vehicle passing.
