| KNOXVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT (KFD) | ||
The Smoke Detector Program provides smoke detectors and batteries free of charge to families or individuals who cannot afford to purchase them. Each engine company installs smoke detectors and batteries in residences within its primary response territory. This ensures the device is installed properly and the residence learns how to perform the monthly test. For more information on receiving a smoke detector or replacement
battery, please call 865-595-4672.
