Directions from I-40: Take Exit 390 to Cherry Street. Follow Cherry Street for 0.5 miles. Turn left onto Magnolia Avenue. After 0.6 miles, turn right onto N. Castle Street. At the top of the hill, turn right onto Wimpole Avenue. Turn left onto Parish St.; turn left onto Boys Bridge Pike; Turn right onto Boarder St.; Turn left onto Brooks Rd.; school entrance is on your left.
Directions from Downtown: Take Summit Hill Drive, east from downtown and cross over James White Parkway. Follow Summit Hill until it becomes Dandridge Avenue, which becomes Brooks Avenue at Wilder Place. Follow Brooks Avenue, park will be on your left.
Sarah Moore Greene Greenway was a cooperative effort project between the City of Knoxville and Knox County. This 0.6-mile paved loop circumvents the Sarah Moore Greene Elementary School, which includes a large school playground and nourishment garden.
Future plans are to connect the Botanical Gardens Greenway east to Sarah Moore Greene Elementary and Sarah Moore Greene Greenway south to the Williams Creek Golf Course, and north to Austin East High School, Dr. E.V. Davidson Community Center, and Claude Walker Ballfields.
