MKAA also operates the Downtown Island Airport, a 150 acre general aviation facility less than three miles from downtown Knoxville. It is home to more than 100 private and corporate aircraft.

McGhee Tyson is served by these Airlines:

AirTran Airways

Allegiant Air

American Eagle Airlines

Continental Express

Delta Air Lines & Delta Connection

Frontier Airlines

United Express

US Airways Express

Vision Airlines

These airlines connect passengers with service to 21 destinations across the nation on more than 140 flights daily.

Air cargo is an important part of the aviation picture at McGhee Tyson. More than 35,000 tons of airfreight annually pass through its cargo facilities.
