| WHAT CONSTITUTES A REPAIR?
- IF THE ITEM NOW WORKS, IT IS REPAIRED!
In many situations, an Equipment Repair may require little more
than a bulb or fuse replacement, which may be done rather inexpensively.
Many come to Court and report making the necessary repairs without
needing to purchase anything; either they had extra parts around
the house or they tightened some wires to make things work. Others
purchase a bulb, a fuse, or lens cover, red tape to repair a brake
lens cover, a replacement windshield, a replacement mirror or glue
to re-attach a mirror, and/or pay a mechanic to make repairs. Whatever
you need to do, once you do it, bring "proof of what you've
done to the Court so we may give you credit for repair.
You may show the Court the actual repair on the vehicle.
You may show the Court a receipt that represents Proof of Repair.
You may show the Court an empty 'parts' container as Proof of
Repair.
You may show the Court a replaced part taken from your vehicle
as Proof of Repair.
