    Marilyn Roddy has been involved in the Knoxville community for over 16 years as a civic activist.

    She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in education.

    Marilyn is a member of the Ijams Nature Center Board of Directors, a graduate of Leadership Knoxville, and active in neighborhood associations and church.

    As a member of City Council, Marilyn serves as chairman of the Audit Committee and is a member of the City's Investment Advisory Board.

    She also serves on the Residential neighborhood Traffic Safety Committee.

    Marilyn is married to Patrick Roddy and they are the parents of three school-age children.

    This is her first term on City Council.
