PLUMBING EXAMINATION AND REVIEW BOARD
Download Plumbing Application [PDF] Board Office 865-215-2988 865-215-4244 The Plumbing Examination and Review Board works to establish minimum qualifications and conduct examinations for applicants desiring a license to install, repair or modify plumbing in both residential and commercial structures. Examinations are conducted at least once each quarter. The agenda issued for meetings will be posted in the front area of building inspections, Room 505, one week prior to the meeting.
Appointment of Board Members
The Board consists of six members - the Department of Operations and Engineering Director or designee, one city licensed master plumber, one state licensed mechanical engineer, one city licensed mechanical contractor, one city licensed journeyman plumber and one consumer representative. These members are appointed by the Mayor and serve a five year term.
Meetings Schedule
