| FAIR HOUSING HEARINGS BOARD | |
| The Fair Housing Hearings Board (FHHB) hears complaints about housing discrimination. Complaints are initially referred to the City of Knoxville Community Development Division for investigation and/or conciliation. If there is no resolution, complaints are then forwarded to the FHHB. If, again, no satisfactory resolution can be reached the matter can be referred for legal action. | |

| Five members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council for terms of five years. | |

| Board meets quarterly at 12 noon at different locations. | |
