FAIR HOUSING HEARINGS BOARD
The Fair Housing Hearings Board (FHHB) hears complaints about housing discrimination. Complaints are initially referred to the City of Knoxville Community Development Division for investigation and/or conciliation. If there is no resolution, complaints are then forwarded to the FHHB. If, again, no satisfactory resolution can be reached the matter can be referred for legal action.
Appointment of Board Members
Five members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council for terms of five years.
Meetings Schedule
Board meets quarterly at 12 noon at different locations.
